Pre event registration is now closed. Onsite registration will open at 12:00 pm on Sunday, September 7th, at the Convention Center.


  • WLO MEMBERS: $495 - Available until August 20, 2014 (payment must be received by August 29, 2014 in order to receive this rate.) 
    • After August 29,2014: $595

  • NON-WLO MEMBERS: $595 - Available until August 10, 2014 (payment must be received by August 29, 2014 in order to receive this rate.) 
    • After August 29, 2014: $695

  • STUDENTS: (Must have valid student ID) $150

  • DAILY RATE: $195

  • ABSTRACT PRESENTERS:  Please register in the appropriate category: WLO Member, Non Member or Student.

  • EXHIBTORS: The Exhibitor registration link will be sent to the booth point of contact (indicated on the Booth Application).

  • GROUPS: World Leisure Organization does not provide group registration rates

  • TECH TOURS: There are 5 separate Tech Tours available to anyone registered to attend the WLC2014. Please sign up for tours during the online registration process below.

9/7 - 2pm - 3:30pm

Delta Wildlife Eco Boat Tour
Float amongst the open marsh watching for a variety of wildlife including alligators bald eagle, osprey, heron, cormorant, pelicans and nutria. Learn about these unique animals of the swamp and how they live. Commentary includes points on the history, geology, ecology characters of the Delta, as well as Alabama State Lands mission in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and the "Forever Wild" program.

9/8 - 2pm - 3:00pm

Mobile Bay Bears Stadium
The stadium opened in 1997 and continues to be a destination for baseball enthusiasts. It was the first professional sports facility to feature field - level suites. The stadium also has multiple meeting facilities on site as well as the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum. The museum is the original Aaron family home built in 1942. It was relocated to the stadium's grounds and has been restored to tell the history of baseball in Mobile and highlighting the career of the Hall of Famer

Centre For Living Arts
PRE-GLO features Mario Ybarra Jr’s billboards from Chapter two of The Manifest Destiny Billboard Project, organized by LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division); a sound and video installation curated by Tom Leeser of the Center for Integrated Media at CalArts with Laura Kurgan of the Spatial Information Design Lab at Columbia University; and selected photographs by Allan Sekula.

Exploreum Science Center
By sparking imagination, creating curiosity and instilling a sense of wonder in the world, the Exploreum has been a cornerstone of informal learning on the Gulf Coast since its inception more than 30 years ago. With the continued support of the community – visionary civic leaders, generous donors, contributing members and volunteers – the Exploreum is able to bring the world of science to the Gulf Coast

Bellingrath Gardens
Nestled amoung oaks, spanish moss and the scenic Fowl river, Bellingrath Gardens and Home is a 65 acre estate garden that blooms in color every day of the year. Visitors will enjoy picturesque views and lovely seasonal plantings. Guests may also tour the Bellingrath Museum Home which appears as it did in the Bellingraths' era.

All cancellations between July 25, 2014 and August 29, 2014 will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00. There will be no refunds after August 29, 2014. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. You may substitute attendees at any time by sending a written notification by August 29, 2014. After August 29, 2014, please bring all adjustment details to the onsite registration HELP DESK at World Leisure Congress.
